How to convert PDF to PowerPoint

STEP 1

Select the PDF

Upload the PDF document you want to transform into a presentation from your device.

STEP 2

Generate the slides

SG Hub processes each page, converts it into an image and places it inside a PowerPoint slide.

STEP 3

Download the PPTX

When processing is complete, download and open the presentation in PowerPoint, Impress or another compatible editor.

High-fidelity visual conversion

Each page is rendered and inserted in full inside a slide. This method helps preserve graphics, colors, fonts, tables, images and their original positions.

It is especially useful for presenting reports, catalogs, plans, manuals and visual material without manually recreating every page.

The content is not editable

The original text, tables and images are not converted into separate PowerPoint objects. Each page remains integrated as one image.

After downloading the PPTX, you can add text boxes, shapes, comments, transitions and new slides over or around the converted content.

What PDF to PowerPoint conversion is useful for

Present reports

Turn reports and institutional documents into slides ready to display.

Show catalogs

Display products, portfolios, plans or brochures inside a presentation.

Reuse documents

Add comments, titles, shapes and new slides around the original content.

Processing and privacy

The PDF must be processed temporarily through SG Hub's infrastructure. The file is used to generate the presentation and is not treated as permanent storage.

Download the result when it becomes available and keep a copy on your device. Files are deleted according to the service retention policy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint?

Select or drag a PDF file, click Convert to PowerPoint, wait for processing to finish and download the generated PPTX presentation.

How is each PDF page converted?

Each page is rendered as a high-quality image and inserted into a separate PowerPoint slide.

Is the text editable in PowerPoint?

Not with this conversion method. Each page is inserted as an image to better preserve the design, fonts, tables and visual layout of the PDF.

Is the original appearance preserved?

The tool aims to preserve the visual appearance of each page. Side or top margins may appear when the PDF aspect ratio differs from the slide aspect ratio.

Can I add content after converting the PDF?

Yes. You can open the PPTX file in Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or another compatible program and add text boxes, images, shapes or new slides.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes. Because pages are converted visually into images, scanned documents can also be processed. Text contained in the scan will not be editable.

Do my files remain private?

Files are processed temporarily through SG Hub's protected infrastructure and deleted according to the service retention policy.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You must sign in or create a free account to use secure PDF to PowerPoint processing.

What is the maximum file size?

The interface accepts PDF files up to 250 MB, although the effective limit may depend on the number of pages, document complexity and available processing resources.

Why can the PPTX file be larger than the PDF?

The presentation contains one image for every page. PDFs with many pages or high-resolution graphics can produce larger PowerPoint files.
