The tool supports Microsoft Excel workbooks, OpenDocument spreadsheets and CSV files containing column-based data.

The result is generated from the printable representation of the file. Formulas are reflected through their visible calculated values, but they are no longer editable or recalculable inside the PDF.

Print settings

The conversion uses the print areas, orientation, paper size, margins, page breaks and scaling stored in the spreadsheet.

For a cleaner result, review the spreadsheet in Excel, LibreOffice Calc or another compatible application and adjust its print preview before uploading it.

Recommendation

For very wide sheets, use landscape orientation, define the print area and adjust scaling so important columns fit within a reasonable number of pages.

Possible differences in the result

  • Very wide sheets may be divided across several pages.
  • Unavailable fonts may be replaced with similar typefaces.
  • Charts and complex objects may show small variations.
  • Macros are not executed or preserved as active functions.
  • Formulas are converted into their displayed calculated values.
  • Hidden sheets or content outside the printable area may not appear.
